Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst
Location: Grosse Pointe, MI
Setting: Home and clinic
Schedule: Hybrid
Compensation: $63,000 – $70,000 per year

This role involves managing day-to-day responsibilities for assigned clinical cases, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for children with autism. The BCaBA will work closely with behavior technicians, families, and supervising clinicians to ensure high-quality care and ethical practice.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized programming based on initial and ongoing evaluations
  • Ensure clinical supervision meets insurance and community mental health guidelines
  • Mentor and guide behavior technicians in treatment plan execution and quality assurance
  • Collaborate with treatment staff to support case management and ongoing training
  • Exercise independent judgment in managing client services and treatment protocols
  • Select and apply effective techniques to achieve treatment goals
  • Conduct assessments and maintain high-quality treatment programs
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation, including client notes and data
  • Engage families in training for relevant treatment techniques
  • Attend educational meetings (e.g., IEPs) and provide treatment recommendations
  • Maintain certification through continuing education (CEUs)
  • Participate in required trainings, conferences, and professional development events
  • Ensure client privacy in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Communicate professionally with internal staff and external stakeholders
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism in all interactions
  • Report directly to the supervising BCBA

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution (per BACB guidelines)
  • BCaBA certification in good standing
  • Active state license (if applicable)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and autism spectrum disorders
  • Preferred experience in supervision and crisis management
  • Ability to travel to client homes and local clinics
