Position Overview
The BCBA serves as a clinical supervisor and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of client programming. This includes assessment, treatment planning, staff supervision, and collaboration with families and other providers to ensure high-quality, individualized care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct formal and informal behavioral assessments
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans using evidence-based ABA strategies
- Create programs, teaching materials, and data collection systems
- Provide supervision, training, and mentorship to behavior technicians (RBTs)
- Monitor client progress and adjust programming based on data and clinical observation
- Lead regular meetings with families and treatment teams
- Provide parent and caregiver training
- Collaborate with schools and other professionals
- Ensure compliance with BACB guidelines and ethical standards
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation (session notes, reports, treatment updates)
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Current BCBA certification
- Active LABA licensure in Massachusetts
- 1–2+ years experience working with individuals with autism preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background checks (BCI/CORI)
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
