Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and support students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through age 22 in school settings. This dual-role position combines supervisory responsibilities with direct behavioral intervention. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), leadership in supporting Behavior Intervention Aides, and the ability to directly implement behavior support strategies with students.

Pay Rate: $40 - $45 per hour

Location: Paramount, CA 90723

Required Qualifications:
*
Required: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) certification.

*
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.

*
Experience in school-based settings.

*
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a BCBA (newly licensed BCBAs are welcome to apply).

*
Strong communication, data analysis, collaboration, and coaching skills.

*
Reliable transportation.

Primary Responsibilities:
1.
Behavior Intervention Developer (BID) Duties

*
Supervise a caseload of up to 15 students requiring behavior intervention support.

*
Provide weekly supervision, coaching, and training for 1:1 Behavior Aides (BIIs) assigned to the caseload.

*
Design and implement data collection systems for BIPs; review and ensure accuracy and fidelity of data collected.

*
Create all materials needed to support the implementation of BIPs.

*
Communicate weekly with the 1:1 Aides, Agency Administration, and the School Site Teams

*
Write quarterly progress reports and manage IEP documentation related to behavior goals.

*
Keep weekly, accurate records of service minutes for BID and BII services

*
Manage confidential student records for maintenance of records for progress monitoring

*
Participate in IEP meetings to present levels of performance, goal progress, and behavior recommendations, with support from the agency’s Special Education Administrator.

2.
Lead Behavior Intervention Implementer

*
Provide direct, 1:1 behavior support to students as a Behavior Intervention Implementer.

*
Serve in an itinerant capacity, working across multiple school sites as assigned.

*
Implement BIPs and behavior strategies with fidelity in real-time educational environments.

*
Model effective behavioral strategies for classroom staff and support consistent application of BIPs across settings.

*
Collect behavior data during implementation to support ongoing assessment and plan refinement.

*
Use direct support to students as a training/coaching model for other behavior aides.

Additional Requirements:
*
Current TB clearance.

*
Successful background check and live scan clearance.

*
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple school sites.

*
Onsite position – not remote.
