Pay/Schedule:

  • $80.00 per hour
  • Part-time (up to 20 hours/week)
  • Temporary, 4-month duration
  • March 2026 to June 2026

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services partners with individuals and communities to provide culturally responsive services that cultivate mental and physical resilience and wellness.

Jamul House is a crisis stabilization and assessment program for youth with developmental disabilities. It is a joint venture between Fred Finch Youth & Family Services and the San Diego Regional Center. The program has the capacity to serve four participants, male and female, who are in crisis and approved for placement. The program offers: crisis stabilization, behavior modification, clinical assessment, brief treatment, individual and family therapy, and discharge planning services. These stabilization services provide an opportunity for crisis intervention, the development of a comprehensive, individualized supports plan and appropriate after-care resources for each youth.


What You Will Do
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for overseeing and providing direct behavioral intervention services to participants; documentation of services; collaboration with other social service, Regional Center, educational or mental health professionals; and providing staff supervision in accordance with the BACB. The BCBA is active in supporting and implementing wraparound individualized, strengths-based, culturally responsive, family-centered approach to behavioral, evidence-based intervention.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Board Certified as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • At least two years of experience providing behavioral services, preferably with the program’s target population.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize de-escalation techniques that align with the trauma informed care model as part of intervention strategy for working with consumers in crisis who are responding to triggers/stressors and/or demonstrating early indicators of distress.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the developmental milestones of children, youth, or young adults.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, triage and organize
  • Theoretical understanding or experience in behavioral approaches to Experience with or knowledge of designing, supervising, monitoring, changing, and discontinuing individualized behavioral interventions.

  • Demonstrated cultural responsiveness in working with diverse families and
  • Clean driving record: current CA driver’s license or ability to obtain within 10 days after
  • Basic computer and keyboarding competence with the ability to use Microsoft Office

Preferred:

  • Three years (3) of Applied Behavioral Analysis experience.
  • Fluency in prevailing language(s) of the community
