The Shelton Public Schools has a vacancy for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Districtwide
Start Date: January 22, 2026


REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in psychology, applied behavior analysis or related field, and BCBA certification
• Previous experience as a behavior analyst working with students preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of and thorough adherence to applicable ethical codes.
• Knowledge of school district operations and special education programming preferred.
• Ability to travel to multiple schools and offices during the work day.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze student data as a means for making decisions.
• Demonstrated responsibility for self-growth, professional improvement, ongoing self-reflection and self-evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability in the effective use of technology.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
• Superior organizational, oral and written communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated commitment to the department team concept and the overall success of the organization.
