Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Position Type: W2 Employee, Full Time, Part Time
Service Locations: Client homes, schools, community settings, and our clinic in Largo within the Pinellas County area.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct behavior and skills assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide caregiver training and support to parents, guardians, teachers, and other stakeholders
  • Oversee ABA programs across home, school, clinic, and community settings
  • Provide direct therapy sessions as needed, including individual and group sessions
  • Supervise and support Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Collect, graph, and analyze data and complete monthly progress reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals supporting each client
  • Provide mentorship, training, and clinical support to RBTs and BCaBAs
  • Communicate with administrative and billing teams to ensure compliance with funder requirements
  • Maintain BCBA certification and meet all BACB and payor requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continued growth of our clinical program

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with children or adolescents with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within Pinellas County
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Comfortable working in natural environments with caregivers or school staff present
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and maintain active therapy positions as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medicaid provider number
  • Safety Care crisis intervention certified
  • Credentialed with private insurance providers such as BCBS, Evernorth/Cigna, or Aetna
