Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) tailored to each client's goals.
  • Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, ensuring patient care is compassionate, effective, and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to coordinate care plans and facilitate consistent intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in accordance with legal standards and organizational policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred in psychology, education, or related field.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligibility for certification is essential.
  • Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical records management.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment focused on patient care and behavioral health.

Pay: $68.00 - $78.00 per hour
