Board Certified Dermatologist – Full or Part-time

Our multi-specialty group practice is seeking an exceptional board certified Dermatologist to support our newest dermatology clinic in Albuquerque, NM on a full or part-time basis. This clinic is already being overwhelmed with referrals from a wide range of primary care sources due to the area’s severe physician shortage and lengthy wait times, especially for dermatology services. With such pent-up demand, the efforts of our referral coordinators, streamlined workflows and our excellent insurance contracts, the chosen provider will benefit from a continually full schedule and outstanding income potential. Opportunities include a wide range of dermatological services, including general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, procedural dermatology and surgeries (including Mohs).

Essential Responsibilities:

• The provision of comprehensive dermatological care, including diagnosis and treatment of all skin conditions.
• Effective utilization of an EHR system to ensure accurate patient documentation and management.
• The ability to perform cosmetic procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participation in continuous education to remain updated with advancements in dermatology.
• Lead and mentor junior staff while promoting a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and treatment options.

Requirements for the position:

• MD or DO.
• Board Certified in Dermatology through ABD / ABMS.
• 5 Plus years of dermatology practice experience preferred.
• Active medical license in New Mexico.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish would be a plus, but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Higher than average earning potential with an incentive-based compensation model (the greater of 50% of net collections from production or $2,000 per 8-hour clinical day).
• Full-time or part-time (2 day minimum) with a variety of workweek templates available.
• Employer paid malpractice insurance and licensing/credentialing costs.
• Employer paid medical and a mix of voluntary low-cost dental & vision insurances (if full-time).
• 401(k) with employer matching (full or part-time).
• Experienced support staff and virtual medical assistants to manage patient questions.
• Fully paid travel (including airfare, hotel, rental car & meals) for out-of-state physicians wishing to fly into Albuquerque for a 3-day shift.
