Board Certified Mohs Surgeon – Full or Part-time

Our multi-specialty group practice is seeking an exceptional board certified Mohs surgeon to support our newest dermatology clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This clinic is already being overwhelmed with referrals for Mohs surgery (as well as general dermatology services) due to the area’s severe shortage of dermatologists and corresponding lengthy wait times. With such pent-up demand, the efforts of our referral coordinators, streamlined workflows and our excellent insurance contracts, the chosen provider will benefit from a continually full schedule and outstanding income potential.

Travel:

In addition to local talent, this position is perfect for Mohs surgeons living in other areas who are available to travel to Albuquerque to work one or more days per week to perform surgeries. In such a case, all airfare, hotel, rental car and meal costs would be paid by the medical group. Additionally, if the surgeon desires a mixed scope of practice, the role can be expanded to include general medical and/or cosmetic dermatology services.

Requirements for the position:

• MD or DO.
• Board Certified in both Dermatology and Mohs Surgery.
• 5 Plus years of dermatology /surgical practice experience preferred.
• Active medical license in New Mexico.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish would be a plus, but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• 45% of net collections from production as well as opportunities for incentive bonuses.
• Part-time to Full-time, with a variety of workweek templates available.
• Employer paid malpractice insurance and licensing/credentialing costs.
