Board Certified NP/PA ~ OWN FACILITY REQUIRED - Within 50 miles

Seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant’s to join our Team here at Live Well Family and Perform Disability Exams to Veteran. Providers will be expected to perform Compensation and Pension exams for our country’s veterans who live in the area. As a certified medical disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations. You develop a medical opinion of likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service. The timely and expert examination assures that a Veteran’s claim is heard and processed.

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans.
• Need your own facility (exam room)
• Complete a thorough review of digital medical records.
• Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims.
• User-friendly software, a dedicated provider support system, up front training, and expert report guidance.
• Must be able to perform exams a minimum of 2 days per week.
• If you have your own practice, you can conduct these exams with a flexible schedule that works with your current patient scheduling.
• There is no treatment, follow-up, or prescription of medications.
• All exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided.
• Need an unrestricted state license to practice.
• Having some knowledge in performing Musculoskeletal Assessments with all range of motions, limited Neurologic assessments and Cardiopulmonary examinations is helpful but not required.

Benefits:

· We offer Malpractice coverage to you for a small fee of $20 per pay period. (Pay periods are on the 3rd and 18th of every month)

· We staff a collaborating Physician for any provider that is required to have one if you do not have your own.

· Flexibility, with having your own facilityset your own schedule (7 days a week, yes even weekends are a possibility!) you can conduct these exams with a flexible schedule that works with your current patient scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Two years NP Experience or some prior VA work is ideal.
• Board-certified Family and Adult Nurse Practitioners
• Personal laptop
• Able to work independently.
• Computer knowledge
• Medically licensed health care professional in state applying for

Pay: $550.00 - $2,000.00 per week
