Board Certified Occ Health Physician - NY

We are seeking a Board-Certified Occupational Health Physician to join our dynamic team as an oversight provider for our dedicated and experienced staff. Position Overview

As an oversight provider, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and well-being of our clients’ employees. You will be responsible for providing approval of standing orders that have been previously approved by our current Medical Director for three NY corporate occupational worksite health locations. There is also a rare possibility that you could be contacted for a physician consultation. If that need arises, the consultation would be requested via email with a reasonable response and coordination time. We anticipate the time dedicated to this role will be approximately 3 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide approval for standing orders for our three NY worksite health locations

· Prove insight when necessary to properly diagnose and treat occupational illnesses and injuries

· Collaborate with our Medical Director when necessary to ensure safe and healthy work environments

Qualifications

· Board Certification in Occupational Medicine

· Valid medical license to practice in New York State

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational health

· Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
