Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, medication management, and therapeutic interventions within a supportive outpatient environment. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges and achieve their wellness goals through evidence-based practices and personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
- Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, including psychopharmacology management tailored to each client’s needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate holistic care strategies.
- Provide patient education on medication use, side effects, and mental health strategies to promote adherence and understanding.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for efficient patient management.
- Engage in telehealth sessions to extend access to mental health services across various settings.
Requirements
- Current Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Valid state licensure to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN).
- Proven experience in behavioral health, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is a plus.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, clinical research methods, and diagnostic evaluation tools like ICD-10 coding.
- Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to perform physical examinations when necessary.

Pay: $90,002.30 - $108,389.88 per year
