Job Description

We are seeking Board Certified Radiologists to join our team in Columbia, SC, supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Program. This opportunity involves providing high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services to veterans, ensuring the highest standard of care in accordance with VA guidelines.

Radiologists will work both in direct patient care and participate in administrative/quality improvement activities. The role requires collaboration with VA medical staff and adherence to established policies, clinical standards, and patient safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of Radiology services including:
• Diagnostic Radiology, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology.
• Provide consultations to referring physicians regarding radiologic procedures.
• Communicate test results to providers and patients as per VA standards.
• Conduct post-procedure evaluations, follow-ups, and address complications if any.
• Participate in clinical and administrative meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement activities.
• Support patient discharge education and follow-up care coordination.
• Participate in on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Education/License:
• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Board Certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) (required).
• Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS.
• Must be technically proficient, fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong knowledge and experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology.
• Must provide verifiable education, training, and work history without gaps.

Schedule

• VA Business Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
• On-Call Coverage: Weekdays (4:30 pm – 8:00 am), weekends, and holidays.
• Must be available for phone consultations within 15 minutes and report onsite within 60 minutes when required.
