Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hospitalist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient care, managing a diverse range of medical conditions while collaborating with specialists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role requires a commitment to high-quality patient service and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Scheduling Expectations:

  • 7:00am to 7:00pm or 7pm to 7:00am

Credentials:

  • ANY STATE MEDICAL LICENSE ACCEPTED

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring appropriate treatment protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in cardiology, endocrinology, and psychiatry, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize EHR systems and EMR systems effectively for documentation and communication.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, airway management, and IV infusion as needed.
  • Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care post-hospitalization.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives to advance hospital practices and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards in all patient interactions.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hospital medicine or a related field, with a strong foundation in critical care experience.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques including CT scans and mammography.
  • Proficiency in managing patients across various specialties such as gastroenterology, oncology, pulmonology, and pediatrics.
  • Experience with telehealth practices is a plus.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding, and basic life support is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
