Role Summary:
The Boarding Agent will be responsible for boarding vessels and handle all ship’s formalities with port authorities.
Contract: Permanent
Location: Egypt, Port Suez (On-Site)
Key Responsibilities:

Boarding the ships.
-
Communications with ship’s Masters and the clients.
-
Co-ordinating whole the required services i.e. crew changes , inward and outward shipments, CTM , supplies etc.

Sending updates and timely reports to ships’ principals.

Co-ordinating the surveyors’ attendance and following up bunkering operations & sending timely reports.

Following up ISS ethics and polices.

Compliance with ISS safety regulations.

Uploading costs /quotations on optic system.
Key Deliverables:

Responsible to fulfil all ship’s services in Port Suez Canal all Egyptian Red Sea Ports.

Delivering a consistent quality in handling ship’s services.

Arranging for all port formalities related to vessel call /Transit.

Document filing.
-
Responding messages for both ships’ Masters and clients.
The post holder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager and ensure full utilization of all ISS systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.
Candidate Requirements:

1–2 years of experience in the maritime/shipping industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Ability to adapt and work flexibly in a dynamic environment.
