Boarding Office Administrator

Hidden Gem Pet Resort is a trusted pet care facility dedicated to offering the highest quality boarding, daycare, grooming, and enrichment services to the Merrimack Valley area. Every member of our staff plays a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our clients and their beloved companions.

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Administrator to support daily operations and help keep our office running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys being the go-to person for coordination, communication, and problem-solving.

  • Knowledge/Proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
  • Basic knowledge of veterinary vaccines and animal health
  • Must be proficient in Kennel Connection or similar CRM's, but willing to train the right candidate

Minimum job responsibilities:

  • Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks
  • Answer phones, emails, and general inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule client appointments, meetings, and maintain company calendars
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
  • Handle confidential information with discretion
  • Assist with invoicing, data entry, and basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Ability to safely chauffeur our clients' dogs to or from their rooms in all-weather
  • Ensure office policies and procedures are followed

Minimum availability required:

  • 8:00-5:00 5 days a week
  • 40 hours/week M-F with some holidays and weekends possible
  • Starting wage is $16.50/ hour with minimal experience

Pay will commiserate with experience

  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday with occasional weekends

Supplemental Pay:

  • Company Bonus Incentives

  • Methuen, MA 01844: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year minimum REQUIRED
