Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our marketing initiatives and drive our brand's growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of multichannel marketing strategies, including digital, social media, print advertising, and familiarity with the boating industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in performance marketing, e-commerce, and B2B marketing. The Director of Marketing will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans that align with our business objectives.

Duties

  • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement across multiple channels.
  • Oversee SEO efforts to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
  • Manage social media marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and foster community engagement.
  • Lead content marketing initiatives, ensuring high-quality copywriting that resonates with target audiences.
  • Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics to measure campaign performance and optimize strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, enhancing advertising sales effectiveness.
  • Manage the budget for all marketing activities while ensuring maximum ROI on campaigns.
  • Supervise the use of marketing automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with product management teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape insights.
  • Oversee e-commerce strategies to enhance online sales performance.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for the creation of compelling visual content for various campaigns.
  • Implement email marketing campaigns that effectively nurture leads and convert prospects into customers.
  • Manage print advertising efforts to complement digital strategies.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a marketing role
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing techniques including SEO, PPC (Google AdWords), Facebook Advertising, and email marketing.
  • Familiarity with WordPress for website management and content updates.
  • Experience in performance marketing with a focus on analytics-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing budgets effectively while achieving desired outcomes.
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong copywriting skills with experience in creating persuasive content across various formats.
  • Proficiency in HTML is a plus for managing web content effectively.
  • A background in advertising sales is advantageous for aligning marketing strategies with revenue goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
