We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our store. This role is essential for ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food preparation and customer satisfaction. The Shift Leader will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating tasks, and ensuring a smooth workflow during shifts.

Duties
- Supervise and support café staff during shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, maintaining quality standards.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Train new employees on café procedures, food handling practices, and customer service techniques.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly, providing exceptional service to enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the café environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to implement promotional strategies and improve operational efficiency.
- Required at least 2 Opening Shift Weekly (One Weekend, One Weekday) and all task in which are required to prepare the day.
- Curate a schedule which complies to the monthly budget.
Skills
- Strong math skills for handling cash register operations and retail math calculations.
- Proficiency with POS systems to manage transactions effectively.
- Experience in food handling and preparation to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while providing leadership support.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus for enhancing product offerings.
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- 1 Year prior experience in food service management
- Open Availability
- 20-30 hour work week (after training)
