Boba Tea Barista

*Please note this position is part-time position or full-time positon in summer and future.

Monday, Wednesday ( 12:00pm-6pm)

Friday, Saturday, Sunday (10am-6pm/7pm)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our Boba and Coffee Shop team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional drinks. All recipes are created by our family and we specialize in bringing natural and real fruits and ingredients to the boba and coffee drink industry.

You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. If you have a love for boba and coffee and enjoy working in a family owned environment, we would love to hear from you.

This is our pilot location where we try new drinks and snacks througout the year. We believe anyone starting out with us on this journey, showing passion, flexibility (we are a small business), is reliable and great at customer service (and front of house and back of house) has opportunities to grow with us.

A bonus is available when daily sales reach a certain target.

Responsibilities :

1. Strong punctuality and reliability are required.

2. Prepare and serve high-quality boba, coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards.

3. Make fresh boba waffles.

4. Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.

5. Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.

7. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns.

8. Stay knowledgeable about menu items (on Toast), including seasonal offerings and promotions, to enhance sales opportunities.

Qualifications

1. 1-3 Years experience in s similar industry. Experience with cash registers and cash handling procedures as well as closing and opening.

2. Basic Math skills for accurate transaction processing.

3. Knowledge of boba and coffee preparation techniques is a plus;

4. 2 week training will occur. Experience with Toast or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.

5. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team and family owned environment.

6. A commitment to maintaining food safety standards and cleanliness in the workplace.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 40.0 per week
