Duties

• Prepare a variety of bubble teas, coffee beverages, and specialty drinks with precision and care, following established recipes and quality standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, offering recommendations and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with accuracy using POS systems and retail math skills
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of quality

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista or in food service within a café or retail environment, with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and serving techniques
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cashiering and sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and create positive interactions
• Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising quality or service speed
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism
