Boba Tea Barista - Full Time

Job Description - Full Time 40 hours/Week

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Boba Tea Baristas to join our team. The barista will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality tea and other specialty drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, and ensuring every drink meets our standards.

• This job is located in Sawtelle, Japantown, Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, and process transactions accurately.
• Prepare specialty drinks according to recipes.
• Cook and prepare toppings consistently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, equipment, and dining space.
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.

Skills & Requirements

• Previous customer service or food/beverage experience preferred (but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
• Positive attitude, teamwork-oriented, and dependable.

Preferred Qualities

• Passion for tea and Asian-inspired beverages.
• Creative mindset and willingness to learn new recipes.
• Prior barista, cafe, or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Additional Language Capabilities (prefered but not required): Chinese

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
