Boba Tea Barista (Part Time)

Wonder Cha Tea Place is looking for tea and coffee enthusiasts who are passionate about crafting yummy drinks and great customer service!

*Prior Barista/Boba Barista experience required to be considered*

This is the very first location and a dream project of the owner, and she hopes to build a team of people who will not only be coming with an open-to-learning-everything mindset, but also be willing to build a healthy, welcoming, and inclusive environment among the staff.

Our boba baristas are responsible for preparing and serving specialty drinks and creating a welcoming environment for all of our customers. Our mission is to add a little bit of joy and wonder to everyone's day-to-day lives. Come join us!

✨ Position: Boba Tea Barista

Location: 10401 Venice Blvd, Suite 102, Los Angeles, CA 90034 (near Culver City)

⏰ Hours: Part Time Shifts (3-8 hour Shifts Available)

• must be able to dedicate at least 15 hours/week
• must be available to start ASAP
• must be able to commit to at least 6 months
• must be able to work at least 1 weekend day (Fri-Sun)
• Shift availability is from 9:30am-10:30pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 9:30am-9:30pm all other days. You may on occasion be asked to fill-in shifts if others call out. Looking to hire ASAP.

What You'll Do:

• Craft a variety of delicious boba tea drinks with precision and creativity
• Prep ingredients (cooking boba, prepping purees, making concentrates)
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service with a smile
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and welcoming for customers, tasks including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dishes, deep cleaning of equipment, and taking out refuse.
• Work as part of a fun, fast-paced team to keep orders flowing smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous barista experience REQUIRED
• Positive, energetic, and open-to-learning anything attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for boba tea, customer service, and yummy drinks in general
• Ability to lift, move, or up to 25lb on a regular basis and up to 50lb on an occasional basis
• Ability to remain positive with guests, even during stressful situations
