Bobcat Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bobcat Operator to operate skid-steer loaders and other light construction equipment. The successful candidate will perform excavation, grading, material handling, site cleanup, and other equipment-related tasks while maintaining high safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Bobcat/skid-steer loaders safely and efficiently.
• Load, transport, and unload construction materials such as soil, gravel, sand, and debris.
• Perform grading, leveling, trenching, and excavation work according to project requirements.
• Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections and report any defects or maintenance needs.
• Follow site plans, supervisor instructions, and safety procedures.
• Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and general labor duties when equipment operation is not required.
• Ensure proper use of attachments such as buckets, forks, augers, trenchers, and sweepers.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic preventive maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, truck drivers, and construction crews.
• Comply with all company, client, and regulatory safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience operating Bobcat/skid-steer equipment.
• Valid operator certification or license (if required by local regulations).
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices.
• Ability to read site plans and follow instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
