Body Contouring Specialist

Summary: We are a well-established, high-volume, and patient-focused cosmetic dermatology practice seeking an experienced Body Contouring Specialist to join our collaborative, upbeat team. A background in aesthetics, dermatology, or plastic surgery is strongly preferred. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Body Contouring Specialist to deliver CoolSculpting and Emsculpt treatments while contributing to the growth and success of our team. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for aesthetics, maintains a polished and professional presence, and excels at educating clients, building lasting relationships, and creating exceptional treatment experiences.

Assist Patients with Skin Care

• Develop written skin care regimens
• Assist patients with selection of skin care products
• Provide required education for Rx products

Ancillary Activities

• Help order, receive stock, maintain, and periodically inventory aesthetician consumables.
• Clean, calibrate, and perform equipment maintenance per manufacturer / practice instructions
• Maintain clean, organized, aesthetically pleasing OSHA-compliant treatment areas
• Perform laundry related to aesthetician treatments.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

Personal and Practice Growth

• Continually update and improve skill set with self-directed education and training
• Under Medical Director supervision, test new skills, techniques and products, and monitor results in patients
• Access manufacturer provided training tools to increase own knowledge base
• During patient follow up, secure photo releases for marketing, collect written testimonials, facilitate positive on-line reviews.
• Collaborate with marketing staff to promote aesthetician services

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma; appropriate licensure in North Carolina; college degree preferred.
• Minimum two-year’s experience in a medical office working as a Body Contouring Specialist and/or Aesthetician.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
