Job Summary
Responsible for managing equipment, quality, manpower, and material-related tasks in the Body Shop. This includes supervising line operations, supporting new projects, improving equipment performance, ensuring quality standards, and overseeing sub-material supply and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Manpower Management

Improve line conditions and enhance worker efficiency

Support new project coordination (Tryout, SOP, stabilization)

Train local staff and workers

Review training manuals and develop staff training plans
Quality & Machine Management
-
Verify production processes and improve facility performance
-
Supervise installation of factory equipment (jigs, robots, hoists, transfer systems, sealing machines, etc.)

Review equipment drawings and identify issues for correction
-
Ensure safety compliance during factory construction

Analyze equipment problems and implement countermeasures

Address customer quality claims and assure vehicle quality

Identify and resolve quality shortages and failures
-
Develop countermeasures for quality-related problems
Material Supply Management & Method Development

Review supply plans for local vendors and sub-materials

Compare bid costs and purchase appropriate items
-
Accurately calculate and procure sub-material quantities
-
Review and modify station process sheets
-
Identify cost reduction opportunities related to materials and equipment
Job Specificity

Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
Requirements
Experience:

Preferably 3+ years in the automotive or manufacturing industry

Familiarity with drawing programs such as AutoCAD, Modview, CATIA
Language:
