We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Additional dealer prep and reconditioning work may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform body, structural, and collision repairs according to estimates and repair procedures
  • Repair or replace damaged body panels and components
  • Perform welding, soldering, panel alignment, and related repair operations
  • Identify additional damage and communicate supplements to management
  • Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals
  • Communicate effectively with Parts and Production teams to ensure timely repairs
  • Follow manufacturer repair procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Properly document completed repairs and labor operations
  • Attend ongoing training to remain current on repair methods and vehicle technology
  • Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ensure customer vehicles are treated with care and returned in clean condition
  • Assist with dealer reconditioning and vehicle preparation as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of automotive collision repair experience
  • I-CAR and/or ASE certifications preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
