Duties

• Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Conduct MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, soldering, and auto glass installation to restore vehicles to factory standards.
• Utilize auto estimating software to assess damages and determine repair scopes accurately.
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, detailing, and auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying to achieve flawless finishes.
• Use heavy lifting equipment and perform mechanical tasks related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration projects.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during the use of power tools and welding equipment.

Experience

• Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience as a body technician or similar role.
• Skilled in MIG welding, sheet metal work, fabrication, and auto painting techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment.
• Familiarity with auto glass installation, auto estimating procedures, and vehicle maintenance processes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
• Knowledge of auto restoration projects and experience working with various automotive brands is highly desirable.

Pay: $24.93 - $40.00 per hour
