A food runner is responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to customers' tables quickly and accurately while assisting with other dining room tasks to ensure a positive guest experience. This role acts as a key liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and drink orders from the kitchen to the correct tables in a timely and professional manner.
- Inspect food orders for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before serving.
- Assist in setting up tables with plates, silverware, and napkins before service.
- Clear dirty dishes and other items from tables as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, which may include sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies.
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct and any guest needs or requests are met.
- Address minor guest requests, such as refilling water glasses.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Support other team members as needed to maintain smooth operations.

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
