BOH Supervisor

Position Summary

We are seeking a BOH Supervisor to support daily kitchen operations in a senior living community. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is organized, dependable, and confident leading teams in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. The BOH Supervisor will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure food safety, quality, and consistency while holding team members accountable to standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day BOH kitchen operations, including production, sanitation, and workflow
• Lead, coach, and hold kitchen team members accountable to performance and food safety standards
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
• Maintain accurate temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and kitchen documentation
• Support ordering, inventory control, and proper storage of food and supplies
• Execute menus and special events as directed by the Executive Chef
• Model professionalism, teamwork, and a positive kitchen culture
• Take direction from the Executive Chef and support operational priorities

Qualifications

• Previous BOH supervisory or lead cook experience (senior living, healthcare, or high-volume kitchens preferred)
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks independently
• Proven experience leading teams and holding staff accountable
• Reliable, self-motivated, and solutions-focused
• ServSafe certification required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
