We are renowned for our expertise in providing high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions, from central air units to indoor air quality systems. This is a Full-Time position, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organisation. We are looking for a professional who can manage our financial records with precision and integrity.

Responsibilities

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial duties. Your primary responsibilities will include:

 

  • Recording day-to-day financial transactions accurately and completing the posting process.
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Conducting regular reconciliations of all company bank accounts and financial statements.
  • Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
  • Maintaining a well-organised and accessible accounting filing system.
  • Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and a keen eye for detail. Key qualifications include:

 

  • Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
  • A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional numeracy skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
  • A relevant qualification or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is highly desirable.
