We recommend books, showcase authors, and create content that connects readers with books they’ll love, while giving the publishing industry meaningful ways to reach them. We believe every story has the power to inspire, challenge, and connect us, and we’re committed to amplifying a wide range of voices, with a special focus on underrepresented and marginalized communities.

Bookstr takes a look at literature, comics, poetry and publishing with a playful, examining eye in order to get good books off the shelves and into your hands all through social media and our website.

Responsibilities:

• Creating graphics for all of our social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the editorial department to bring articles to life visually.
• Excellent communication and inter-departmental collaboration skills.
• Meet, follow, and conform to expected timelines to complete graphics for social media launch.

Requirements:

• Experience and proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Proficiency in Canva.
• Open to direction and constructive criticism.
• Follows latest design trends.

This position is open to both current college students and graduates and is remote.

College credit may be available based on individual needs.
