Position Summary
MHAMC is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to manage day to day financial transactions billing submissions payroll processing and reconciliations. This is an execution focused role that follows a defined billing calendar and requires strong follow through organization and attention to detail.

The Senior Bookkeeper works closely with the Executive Director and external accountant to maintain accurate records support compliance requirements and ensure uninterrupted cash flow.

Core Responsibilities
Record all income expenses deposits and payments in QuickBooks Online
Code transactions accurately by program and property class
Maintain vendor tenant and client ledgers
Maintain organized digital financial records and supporting documentation
Own and maintain all program billing submissions and meet all deadlines
Confirm receipt of invoices and document confirmations
Track expected payments print and mail vendor checks and flag issues immediately
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Process biweekly payroll in QuickBooks Online following approval
Prepare monthly financial reports for Executive Director review
Support audits grant reporting and year end close
Follow fiscal policies internal controls and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications
Minimum two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Experience managing billing deadlines and invoicing cycles
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet firm deadlines
Nonprofit experience preferred

Valid driver’s license

Ability to pass background clearance for state of Pennsylvania (Acts 33 & 34)

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
