Part Time Bookkeeper Onsite Under Control Accounting

Under Control Accounting is looking for a highly dependable and detail oriented Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a professional role with real impact, designed for someone who takes pride in clean books, organized systems, and doing work the right way.

This position is approximately 8 to 12 hours per week and works extremely well for someone looking for consistent daytime hours such as school hours. All work is performed onsite in our office to maintain quality, collaboration, and consistency across our clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online
• Categorize transactions and keep the general ledger clean and organized
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts with precision
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking
• Identify discrepancies and resolve them proactively
• Support monthly close and internal reporting processes

What we are looking for

• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
• Someone who asks questions and wants to fully understand the why behind the numbers
• Positive attitude with a team first mindset
• Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
• Prior bookkeeping or accounting support experience required
