Hamilton Pacific Chamberlain, LLC, a rapidly growing, nationwide construction contractor, seeks a mature team player to join our finance team! In this role, you will support daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who is organized, analytical, and eager to contribute in a faced-paced environment. This is not considered an entry level position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor invoices.
  • Review, verify, and process invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Assist with bank & credit card reconciliations and other financial accounts along with identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and analyses to assist management decision-making.
  • Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing issues, payment discrepancies, and other financial inquiries.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including filing, scanning, photocopying, and maintaining an orderly workspace.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role strongly preferred; experience in the construction field is a plus.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (10+ years preferred) and strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent organization and time-management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and external partner.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
