Duties
- Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platform
- Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring proper debits and credits in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to verify account balances align with supporting documentation
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently to support cash flow management
- Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings to ensure timely compliance
- Generate detailed financial reports, including financial statement writing and account analysis for internal review or external audits
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar programs;
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles.
- Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting
- Ability to perform account reconciliation accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with payroll processing, tax experience related to payroll or corporate taxes is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry tasks

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
