Bookkeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Record and process journal entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all accounts.
• Manage accounts receivable functions with precision
• Assist with payroll processing and related tax compliance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of debits & credits, account reconciliation activities, and journal entries while adhering to double entry bookkeeping standards.
• Support governmental accounting requirements when applicable, ensuring
• Utilize technical accounting knowledge for account analysis and account reconciliation tasks.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports by writing clear documentation of financial data and findings.

Qualifications

• Experience with bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable processes
• Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.
• Demonstrated understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and account analysis.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
