Responsibilities
- Record and classify financial transactions using accounting software such as Intempo
- Perform bank reconciliations and check registry reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Manage accounts payable and purchase orders processes efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare journal entries, including debits & credits, to reflect all financial activities properly.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies or errors.
- Support budgeting efforts by providing detailed financial data and analysis for management review.
- Maintain meticulous records of all bookkeeping activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant standards.
- Maintaing Loans and Amoritization Scheduleds
- Good Communication Skills with Vendors keeping accounts current and accurate.
- Maintaing Sales Tax Payments and all records filed for auditing purposes
- Daily depositing of checks and reconcilling to keep accurate bank balances.
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting 101
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting practices, including double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting.
- Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and tax regulations is desirable.
- Ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy.
- Solid grasp of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, and account analysis.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax-related tasks is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
