**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Bookkeeper

  • Oversee AP and bookkeeping processes at the store level
  • Manage bank activities, reconcile merchant credit card transactions and corporate cardholder transactions, misc. transfers, manual checks
  • Interface with credit card processing companies to ensure proper setup, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage accurate posting of payroll activity to the GL including calculation of wages and taxes, the filing of taxes and payment of any court ordered garnishments
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining internal accounting controls to reduce risk of fraud and protect company assets

Pricing Updates

- Coordinate with vendors and ensure we always have the latest pricing information available and updated in all systems

- Insure pricing updates are synchronizing with all software packages

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Required: High School Diploma

Required Experience:

1-3 years in bookkeeper or accounting role

General bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and sales tax

Organized and comfortable managing paperwork, bills, invoices, payment dates, etc.

Microsoft Excel

Expert knowledge with QuickBooks Online/Intuit Enterprise Suite

Knowledge with Shopify

Comfortable with a paperless work environment, specifically Microsoft SharePoint

Preferred Experience with:

Running an AP team, developing payments processes and utilizing unfamiliar technologies

Vendor setup, ACH and EFT initiation, various payment type

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
