Bookkeeper

Part-Time Bookkeeper (Remote with Occasional In-Person Meetings)

Location: Remote (Must be local enough to attend occasional in-person meetings)

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of our growing veterinary hospital group. This position is primarily remote with a flexible schedule but requires occasional in-person meetings with the owners and our CPA to review financials and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
• Enter and categorize financial transactions
• Process and pay vendor invoices and recurring bills on time
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ensure QuickBooks is accurate and up to date
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the owners and CPA
• Assist with collecting and organizing financial documents for the CPA
• Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions when needed
• Maintain organized digital financial records and supporting documentation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Strong QuickBooks experience (QuickBooks Online preferred)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace
• Experience with veterinary or healthcare practices is a plus, but not required

Position Details

• Part-time (approximately 10–20 hours per week)

We already work with a CPA, so this role is focused on keeping our books current, paying bills, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring our financial information is organized and up to date.
