We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our team and take ownership of our day-to-day financial recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, trustworthy, and comfortable working with financial data, reconciliations, and accounting software.
As our Bookkeeper, you will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, reconcile accounts, assist with reporting, and help ensure our financial information is complete and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and bookkeeping systems.
- Record and categorize daily financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts regularly.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on accounts receivable as needed.
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer records.
- Assist with payroll processing and related bookkeeping activities.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Review financial records for discrepancies, errors, or unusual transactions.
- Maintain organized documentation for financial transactions and support audit and tax preparation activities.
- Work closely with management, accountants, and other team members to resolve financial questions.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and company information.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
