Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our team! This vital role combines precise financial management with essential administrative support, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and providing administrative assistance that keeps our organization organized and compliant. Duties

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software, QuickBooks, including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Monthly ABC Reports (training will be provided)
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and organizational standards
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify financial integrity
  • Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements as needed
  • Support administrative functions such as scheduling, correspondence, document management, and data entry (including 10 key typing)

Experience

  • 2+ years experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles including double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and ADP systems
  • Experience with financial concepts like budgeting, account analysis, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical accounting tasks such as account analysis and general ledger accounting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
