We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team!
This vital role combines essential bookkeeping responsibilities with some administrative support, ensuring our office runs smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive & organized. Skills in Excel and Microsoft Outlook are required. Working knowledge of Quickbooks Online is ideal, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and Excel; including invoicing, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations
- Take ownership of assigned clients and assist in completing full monthly accounting cycle.
- Complete some data entry, and clerical tasks
- Preparation of Sales Taxes to all 50 States, for small and large companies
- Monitor emails and interact with clients, to request documentation required for completing the accounting cycle and monthly financial statements
- Assist in preparation of federal ax returns
Qualifications
- Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly preferred
- Data entry skills and able to work with Excel files using Pivot Tables, Filtering, Sorting.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
