Bookkeeper / Data Entry

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper / Data Entry specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing data entry processes, and supporting various accounting functions across multiple platforms. Responsibilities

• Enter and verify financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Reconcile bank statements and perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
• Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements as needed
• Support budgeting activities by compiling financial data and preparing reports for management review

Experience

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within corporate or non-profit settings
• Strong proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation
• Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately and efficiently for data entry tasks
• Experience with bank reconciliation, account analysis, and financial report writing is highly desirable
• Prior exposure to payroll processing, tax compliance, and budget management will enhance your effectiveness in this role
