Bookkeeper / HR Coordinator

About the Role We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented HR/Bookkeeper to support our operations on a part-time basis. This is a dual-function role ideal for someone comfortable managing financials and handling day-to-day HR tasks in a mission-driven healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

Bookkeeping:

  • Record and reconcile financial transactions using QuickBooks
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable across multiple entities
  • Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
  • Prepare monthly reports and bank reconciliations
  • Coordinate with our accountant for tax preparation

HR Support:

  • Maintain employee files and onboarding documentation
  • Track PTO, attendance, and HR compliance
  • Assist with recruiting, job postings, and interview coordination
  • Keep HR policies current and ensure proper recordkeeping

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • QuickBooks proficiency required (Online or Desktop)
  • Multi-entity bookkeeping experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting is a plus
  • Familiarity with payroll platforms (Gusto, ADP, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills and discretion with confidential information
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business preferred — relevant experience welcomed

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
