About the Role We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented HR/Bookkeeper to support our operations on a part-time basis. This is a dual-function role ideal for someone comfortable managing financials and handling day-to-day HR tasks in a mission-driven healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
Bookkeeping:
- Record and reconcile financial transactions using QuickBooks
- Manage accounts payable and receivable across multiple entities
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
- Prepare monthly reports and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with our accountant for tax preparation
HR Support:
- Maintain employee files and onboarding documentation
- Track PTO, attendance, and HR compliance
- Assist with recruiting, job postings, and interview coordination
- Keep HR policies current and ensure proper recordkeeping
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks proficiency required (Online or Desktop)
- Multi-entity bookkeeping experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting is a plus
- Familiarity with payroll platforms (Gusto, ADP, or similar)
- Strong organizational skills and discretion with confidential information
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business preferred — relevant experience welcomed
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
