About Us

Eazy Grease is a growing national company specializing in used cooking oil collection, recycling, and related services. We work with restaurants and commercial clients across multiple markets and are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Bookkeeper to help keep our financial records accurate, organized, and up to date.

We are seeking someone with strong hands-on QuickBooks experience who can take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple entities. This role is ideal for someone who is accurate, consistent, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced business environment.

Job Summary

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for five entities, with a strong focus on properly allocating and recording daily bank and credit card transactions, maintaining accounts receivable, tracking sales receipts, and supporting daily invoicing activity.

The right candidate must have a solid understanding of QuickBooks, bookkeeping workflows, reconciliations, transaction categorization, and financial recordkeeping. Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online for multiple entities.
  • Review, categorize, and properly allocate daily bank and credit card transactions.
  • Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the correct entity, account, class, customer, or vendor where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support clean, organized books.
  • Prepare and record daily invoices related to UCO sales.
  • Maintain Accounts Receivable records, including customer balances, open invoices, and payment tracking.
  • Accurately track and record all sales receipts in the books.
  • Assist with regular account reconciliations, including bank and credit card accounts.
  • Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or unusual transactions and follow up as needed.
  • Support month-end bookkeeping tasks to help ensure financial records are complete and accurate.
  • Maintain organized supporting documentation for bookkeeping entries.
  • Assist with accounting clean-up projects and process improvements as needed.

Future Projects

The Bookkeeper may also assist with future accounting and system improvement projects, including:

  • Supporting the setup of a new Accounts Payable process.
  • Assisting with a potential transition from QuickBooks Online to Desktop.
  • Supporting future integrations between QuickBooks, Salesforce, and Stripe.

- Experience with Salesforce or Stripe is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience required.
  • Strong bookkeeping experience, including transaction categorization, reconciliations, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
  • Experience working with multiple entities is strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage recurring bookkeeping responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable reviewing bank and credit card activity on a daily basis.
  • Basic to intermediate Excel or spreadsheet skills preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with Stripe is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

This position starts at $60,000 per year, with eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.
