Bookkeeper / Invoicing Specialist (Part-Time, Growth Role)

Role Overview

This role is responsible for owning the monthly invoicing process—a critical function of the business—while supporting core bookkeeping tasks.

This is a part-time position with strong potential to expand in scope and responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute monthly invoicing (recurring services + variable/add-on work)
• Maintain accurate billing records across multiple clients and job sites
• Track accounts receivable and aging reports
• Perform basic bookkeeping (cash reconciliation, data accuracy)
• Work within QuickBooks Online and Excel
• Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in invoicing, bookkeeping, or related accounting work
• Direct experience with invoicing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred:

• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Excel proficiency
• Experience in a service-based or recurring revenue business
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time to start (typically 10–30 hours per week)
• Hours may fluctuate based on invoicing cycles, with heavier workloads generally occurring in the last couple of weeks of each month
• $30–$45/hour depending on experience
• Primarily in-office (Pittsburg), with some flexibility over time
