Bookkeeper & Office Coordinator

ABOUT FORNO PIOMBO

Forno Piombo is a premium pizza oven manufacturer based in American Canyon, California. We design and build handcrafted, made-in-the-USA wood-fired ovens for homeowners, chefs, and outdoor living enthusiasts across the country. We're a tight-knit team of about 20 people who take serious pride in what we build — and who aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves. You'll work directly with ownership and leadership in a fast-moving environment where your contributions are visible and valued every day.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

Must-haves:

- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online

- Experience running payroll

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms

- Familiarity with workers' comp reporting or HR administration

- Background in a manufacturing, warehouse, or product company

- Comfortable with light physical tasks like packing and inventory

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This is a wide-ranging role — no two days look exactly the same. You'll be the operational backbone of the office, keeping our finances accurate and our team running smoothly.

Bookkeeping & Finance:

- Pay bills electronically and by check; manage accounts payable

- Enter and reconcile orders in QuickBooks and Shopify

- Process payroll accurately and on schedule

- Prepare and submit workers' comp reports

- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks

Office & HR Administration:

- Maintain office and employee supplies, including the breakroom

- Support new hire onboarding and maintain employee records

- Keep safety meeting records organized and current

- Coordinate building and equipment maintenance

- Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling

Inventory & Fulfillment:

- Track and organize inventory; initiate restocking as needed

- Fulfill and pack accessory orders accurately and on time

WHAT WE OFFER

- $28–$33/hr depending on experience

- Full-time, Monday–Friday, on-site in American Canyon, CA
