Bookkeeper & Operations Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a pro-active and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Operations Assistant to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our staff accountant with bookkeeping and handling operational activities associated with it. You will be instrumental in accurately receiving payments from the various online marketplaces we service and coordinate returns with our warehouse clerk. Ideal candidates are organized, fast learners and comfortable working in a small team. This paid position is perfect for someone who has a flexible schedule.

Duties

• Prepare payment reports from various marketplaces like Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart and Shopify using Excel.
• Coordinate returns with warehouse staff and maintain customer return log.
• Receive payments into Quickbooks.

Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience with QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of Excel including VLOOKUP and pivot table
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting processes
• Proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry and processing tasks
• Experience with handling accounting for ecommerce marketplaces like Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart and/or Shopify.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to communicate effectively while being remote.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
