NYM Holding Inc. is the management company for all retail supermarkets, wholesales, farms, import, warehousing logistics, and catering services.

Job Requirement:

Provides primary day-to-day accounting procedures necessary to meet the company’s financial reporting requirements. This position is responsible for all cash and funds control as well as timekeeping and payroll transmission. The Bookkeeper may also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.

• Manages and maintains accurate supporting records for all accounting entries.
• Totals all checks, cash and credit cards from the previous day.
• Records and verify all transaction of cash, checks, food stamps, credit cards and coupons.
• Makes over and short report for previous day’s sales.
• Troubleshoots Petty Cash balance differences.
• Correctly prepares all daily and weekly sales and cash reports.
• Process payment via Check / Wire / ACH.
• Verifies time cards and process weekly payroll.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.
• Report monthly & quarterly sales tax, P& L to Accounting Manager.
• Associated with Accounting Manager for quarterly auditing.
• Prepare monthly & quarterly closing journal entry.
• Assist accounting team with duties as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and QuickBooks
• Minimum two-year experience in progressively responsible financial roles, preferably in retail, grocery, foodservice.
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable with multitasking and managing multiple priorities at the same time while maintaining a positive and outgoing attitude.
• Preferered Fluent in both Chinese and English.
