Bookkeeper/Office Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager/ Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Office Manager/ Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring efficient and smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills and experience managing administrative tasks. This is a full-time in officeposition. Compensation will be based on your experience. No work on holidays & weekends

You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our company. This is a great opportunity to be a part of our full-service European, exotic & custom automotive repair facility.

WE ARE OPEN TO QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WHO CURRENTLY WORK REMOTE & CAN PERFORM THIS ROLE AS WELL

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping / Admin:

  • Proficient in Quickbooks Online, Excel, Word
  • All accounts payable & receivable, pay all vendors, remote or in person deposits at local bank
  • Handle all incoming & outgoing mail
  • Enter all repair orders and customer invoices in quick books
  • Handle all payroll, health insurance, human resource needs with our payroll company Paychex.
  • Manage benefits for our employees
  • Wire payments to vendors as needed
  • Process NY Sales and Use Tax monthly.
  • Work with our CPA on all tax issues.
  • Organize and process commercial truck quarterly fuel tax submissions (IFTA)
  • Handle workman’s compensation plans and audits
  • Handle all company commercial insurance renewals and payments
  • Reconcile monthly credit card charges/ statements- allocate to repair orders etc
  • Process invoices and keep track of inventory
  • Place orders to suppliers
  • Prepare shipments

Other House Duties:

  • Re-order shop materials, fluids & supplies as needed
  • Re-order office supplies as needed
  • Re-stock snacks / drinks for lunchroom
  • Re-stock bathroom supplies as needed
  • Run local errands to Fedex, UPS, Target, Post office as needed
  • Receive small shipments from fedex, ups etc
  • Answer phone calls and occasional front door visits

Qualifications:

  • Strong Quickbooks Online Knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
